Party time But late September, and Dayton and Winebaum had chosen their first idea to incubate, a “party portal” called eParties. “It’ll help you plan and execute all kinds of parties — birthdays, bar mitzvahs, graduations, office parties — everything except weddings and funerals,” says Dayton. Fittingly, its genesis underscores the role of relationships in New Economy entrepreneurism: the initial idea comes from Winebaum’s eight-year-old daughter.
